Evoke Closed-Loop Spinal Cord Stimulator
Dr. Steven Rosen was the first physician in Pennsylvania to implant the Evoke closed-loop spinal cord stimulator, the most advanced neuromodulation device currently available. The Evoke system uses real-time neural sensing to continuously adjust stimulation parameters, producing superior outcomes compared to conventional spinal cord stimulation. Dr. Rosen has presented on closed-loop neuromodulation outcomes at the International Neuromodulation Society World Congress, one of the premier global forums for neuromodulation research.

Neuromodulation Leadership
Dr. Steven Rosen has been at the forefront of spinal cord stimulation for over two decades. His implantation of the Evoke closed-loop SCS system as the first in Pennsylvania reflects his commitment to bringing the most advanced neuromodulation technologies to DVPSI patients. He has participated in national faculty programs educating other pain physicians on advanced SCS techniques.

ECAP-Controlled Stimulation Research
Dr. Rosen's work with the Evoke system, which uses evoked compound action potential (ECAP) sensing to automatically adjust stimulation in real time, has contributed to the growing body of evidence on closed-loop neuromodulation. ECAP-controlled SCS has been shown in randomized controlled trials to provide superior pain relief and paresthesia-free stimulation compared to conventional open-loop SCS.
